Core Pilates Series

with Angeles Rios



Angeles Rios, Certified Pilates InstructorWith lots of personalized attention and instruction from Angeles, you will learn the fundamentals of Pilates in order to:

  • •  build core strength
  • •  tone and streamline your body
  • •  increase strength and flexibility
  • •  rehabilitate and prevent injuries
  • •  improve posture and total body alignment
  • •  improve balance and coordination

Designed for the beginner as well as the advanced practitioner, this 6-week Class Series is based on Pilates mat work.  We will incorporate rollers, bands and other props into our workout while learning correct alignment and creating a strong stable core.

This Class Series is open to all levels.  In other words, no prior experience is necessary.  It may also be appropriate for rehabilitation of specific injuries.  Please be sure to discuss with your physical therapist.

  When:  June 12 through July 17, 2012, 1:00-2:00pm
Where:  Pacific Heights Health Club - Chi Room
How Much:  $108 per student. Class size limited to 6 students.

About Angeles Rios, Certified Pilates Instructor

Angeles focuses on improving movement and breathing patterns, while strengthening and stretching the whole body with control. She tailors each program to her student's goals, needs, commitment and conditioning levels in a compassionate yet rigorous and challenging environment.


Educated and interested in evidence based research on improving biomechanics, athletic performance and therapeutic outcomes, she supports her clients as they achieve their full potential. She enjoys developing creative solutions for her clients which flow directly from her scientific background and love of teaching.
